I wonder if uniden will ever come out with control channel monitoring like the p25rx line of receivers have? Example, you can put priority numbers on talkgroups. When a talkgroup starts talking that has priority over the one talkgroup that is currently talking it switches to the one with higher priority. There is no half a sec switch to listen for another group that’s talking like all general scanners do. It’s seamless. Best feature I’ve ever saw on a receiver.

I imagine you mean priority monitoring without interrupting your current audio? OP25 has this feature, and it's quite useful. I'm wondering if the some scanners have it as well?

Not that I am aware of. It maybe a patented.
Just like the multiple colored led of the gre/whistler/radioshack scanners.

Yes. That’s what I’m talking about. I’ve never used op25.
