Control Channel only on Phase 2?

I don't think I've ever seen this asked, so here goes...

I know that Control Channel Only is the default when programming Phase 1 trunks in Uniden scanners. But how about Phase 2? Does it work the same way? I suspect not, only because not only is the frequency involved, but the slot as well. Or is that written into the control channel as well?

No difference. The control channel provides all necessary information.

But is CCO the default when programming a phase 2 system, like it is on phase 1? Mike
