control channel programming

im new to the uniden scanners id like to know if i can program it wide open just controls so i can get OPP mnr mto moh just like my 2096 and 96..

and also id like to do all 4 zones of OPP fleetnet but 1 zone per group

I don't know which uniden you're asking about but all of the recent ones work on control channel only. The only downside I can think of is the trunk activity indicator on the XT models not working correctly.

sorry i forgot to mention its a 996t....its just not cooperating with the programing using arc 996......i see the info on my scanner screen but cant hear nothing...if i press hold i can here the control channel tone...my pro 96 sitting right beside to make sure but nothing is comming out of the 996t

C-Ch only is a site option. Check to see if it is set. Default is on. It sounds like you have another issue.
