Has anyone one had any issues with the scanner not reciving any signal with the control head hooked up? Also noticed that when you do get it to work signal is weak. Could it be i have somthing set wrong. Please help?? Thanks.

Hmm, I've been running the Remote Head against a 996t and haven't noticed any difference...
I often run without it and the scanner seems to perform the same with or without... Are your connections firmly set? No breaks, or scratches on the insulation along the cable?

Nothing found in cable. Did have problem with antena on vehicle. Mabe i have a lose conection on antena conection in scanner again.. Was justwondering if anyone else had noticed this. Where do you set you squelch at on the 996 when head is pluged in???
