Are these all on cook north simulcast?
should be on 501 cook county sheriff north simulcastAre these all on cook north simulcast?
So far, 25336 and 25341 (encrypted?) is on the County North simulcast. Southland and Tinley Park's patch are on the County South Simulcast. Once the County South Dispatch Center is opened up in Crestwood, those departments will probably be on the south, while the departments being dispatched from the north will be on the north simulcast. Will have to monitor to confirm once everything is up and running. Are these all on cook north simulcast?
TG 25336 is not in service yet. Cook County is toning out, and at times, one person using a single radio / RID is "playing the part" of multiple units responding from various departments. Possibly dispatcher training?Sounds like TG 25336 is in full use. Hearing Dispatch and field units on a fire this morning.
I can 100% guarantee that FD2 is not encrypted. 25336 is FD-1.When it comes up and I do a channel hold on the talk group, I see the ENCRY symbol appear, at least so far.
Is 25336 confirmed as FD-1 as I heard?
You are correct. Testing and training.TG 25336 is not in service yet. Cook County is toning out, and at times, one person using a single radio / RID is "playing the part" of multiple units responding from various departments. Possibly dispatcher training?
I'll assume you're programming one of the departments radios involved?I can 100% guarantee that FD2 is not encrypted. 25336 is FD-1.
Are you receiving Data from the North Cook control channel 5-001? This is a Phase 2 simulcast system, not sure what you're using to monitor? So, looks like these will be the new TGs. Unfortunately, I have not heard anything, but I am probably tuning in at times when there is no testing.
FD1 - 25336
FD2 - 25341
Nothing in stone. Waiting for state paperwork.Do you know the "go live" date?
I’m using SDS100 as well as SDR. I am receiving data. Perhaps I’m not monitoring during test hours. Are you receiving Data from the North Cook control channel 5-001? This is a Phase 2 simulcast system, not sure what you're using to monitor?
25341 is ENC and appears to be a simulcast of 25336,So, looks like these will be the new TGs. Unfortunately, I have not heard anything, but I am probably tuning in at times when there is no testing.
FD1 - 25336
FD2 - 25341
Training...radio ID 5776499 is "playing the fire/EMS companies part" and Cook County Fire dispatch (radio ID 5826279) is playing the dispatcher part.25341 is ENC and appears to be a simulcast of 25336,
FWIW I am currently getting responding units for Des Plaines incidents on 25336 in the clear
my question is if 25336 is training, where is Des Plaines actually being dispatched and talked with? I don't hear them on REDTraining...radio ID 5776499 is "playing the fire/EMS companies part" and Cook County Fire dispatch (radio ID 5826279) is playing the dispatcher part.
FD-2 (talk group 25341) is still encrypted as you mentioned.
I'm only seeing the two radio ID's I posted. Notice the same female voice for all the companies (5776499)? Cook County Fire (5826279)?my question is if 25336 is training, where is Des Plaines actually being dispatched and talked with? I don't hear them on RED
Also the RID responding is not the one you mentioned, its a different one
isnt that female voice the dispatcher? She says "ambulance X from Red" or am i incorrect? I don't hear them on REDI'm only seeing the two radio ID's I posted. Notice the same female voice for all the companies (5776499)? Cook County Fire (5826279)?
I'd assume they're still on the same Red Center dispatch frequency until the official cutover.
She might be from Red and "playing the part", but Cook County Dispatch all begin with 582xxxx radio ID's. 577xxxx are Cook County assigned portables. They're training, it's not live yet.isnt that female voice the dispatcher? She says "ambulance X from Red" or am i incorrect? I don't hear them on RED
just checked RED logs and i was wrong, looks like there is still des plaines companies and responses on RED. I feel like I heard some dispatches on Starcom that wasn't on RED, but I need to do some more research tomorrowShe might be from Red and "playing the part", but Cook County Dispatch all begin with 582xxxx radio ID's. 577xxxx are Cook County assigned portables. Probably because they're not training on the Red Center frequenciesjust checked RED logs and i was wrong, looks like there is still des plaines companies and responses on RED. I feel like I heard some dispatches on Starcom that wasn't on RED, but I need to do some more research tomorrow
It appears that there is a block of RIDs (roughly 5826275-5826280) being used by Cook County E911 consoles for fire dispatch training at this point.my question is if 25336 is training, where is Des Plaines actually being dispatched and talked with? I don't hear them on RED
