I just acquired a new scanner, and programmed in my local public service comms, the nearby city, ham radio repeaters, Logan airport, news and traffic copters, and state police. Is there anything else that is worth listening to?

Depends on where you actually are in MA

VHF Marine, USCG (P25), Railroads, Campus PD, Tourist Attractions, Sporting Events....your imagination can be endless

It might also be worth putting in the fire buff networks like FRS and MRS as well as the medevac helos like Boston Medflight and UMass Memorial Lifeflight.

I would put in Marine 16 156.8 International Distress, Safety and Calling and Marine 22A Coast Guard Liaison/Maritime Safety Information Broadcasts.
