Several Copiah County Sheriff's Deputies have installed Hi Band radios in thier cruisers, originally for usage on the EOC chan, but now are using them to interop with Hazelhurst, and Crystal Springs PD's....
This may be a sign that maybe, just maybe Copiah SO will get liscensed for , and move up to Hi Band for thier operations.
Also Wesson PD units with Hi Band are utilizing Lincoln County's repeater for interop and mutual aid, Wesson's liscense was allowed to expire for thier Hi Band, but it might get renewed, or a new one issued for a new Hi Band system.
This would make Copiah County interop a lot easier.
