I bought a PRO 106 and have downloaded PSREdit500. I have been successful in uploading from my PC to the scanner and scanner to PC, but I cannot figure out how to copy and paste in PSREdit 500. I have done it with PSREdit300 a million times. The 500 isn't so easy. Any help would be appreciated. Additionally, how do you setup the PRO 106 to scan P25 systems without knowing the control channel(s). The manual isn't real clear in this regard. Thanks in advance.

in the database the control channels are red for primary and blue for secondary etc.
not sure about the software but to program the p25 system by hand

hit pgm then new ( f1 ) then talkgroup f1 then pick a scan list (if you don't want it in the default scan list hit sel then use right or left arrows to pick a scan list hit sel again) then go down to tsys hit sel then under type use right or left arrows to sel p25 auto (it's the easy way then p25 man) then under tag enter name of the system hit enter then go down to freqs hit sel enter the system cc ( database freq in red = primary cc channel freq in blue = secondary cc channel) and then when you are done entering the freqs hit save about three times and you have entered basic settings for p25 system.

plus i see that you have a paid acct here so you can use the software to download everything into the software and upload it to your scanner with out copy and paste in the program there should be a link in the options of the software that says something like download from radio reference click on that then sel your country county (and possible option) town click on systems you want then download or ok then upload to scanner

I guess I didn't specify. I want to look for a particular set of radios. I don't know the control channels or any channel and they are on. They are not in the database. The radios do exist. All I know is the type of radio and the range of frequencies they can operate on. I can't hear them on regular 400mhz freqs so I think they are p25 but not 100% sure. I just want to scan a range of frequencies on p25 to see what I can find.

Thanks for the reply. I am tracking on how to use the software. What I can't figure out is copy and paste. I want to use an existing table/ bank from another scanner and edit the tables in the PSREdit 500 software. I uploaded the data from my PRO 164 to the PSREdit500 software. That was simple. Now I want to edit the data using copy and paste.
