I am trying to get DSDPlus working on an older laptop that has Windows XP. I read where all I had to do was copy the folder on my original computer to the other computer. I have done that and the XP laptop works when I use the dongle associated with the original laptop. When I try to use my NooElec dongle it will not pick up the frequency that I enter into FMP24cc. It shows other frequencies in the display window and when I try and click on an active CC it starts then reverts back to my original CC that I am trying to monitor. How can I get the other dongle to work on the XP laptop? Thanks

FMP doesn't calculate PPM. It's a user-set value.

If you copy the whole system to a new CPU it is likely you need to let it benchmark the available FFT methods so it selects the fastest method for your different CPU... you may need to force that to happen.

How? You may wonder.

Well the notes say

Benchmark results are stored in FMPx.dat; do not copy the FMPx.dat file to other computers.
Deleting the FMPx.dat file will trigger a new benchmarking run the next time FMPx is run.

Although you are correct that it does not calculate PPM.
