Can you download from Sentinel to an micro as card instead of the scanner so you can switch out cards on the BCD536HP?

This would be great if your scanner was mounted in a vehicle so you wouldn’t have to remove the scanner to do an update just the sd card

Yes, it's possible to do this with a card reader.. Your scanner (when plugged into a PC via usb in mass storage mode) is an expensive SD card reader..

Hit refresh, should show if mounted.

If it's a brand new, blank SD then you have to clear user data. That's an option under the scanner menu if I recall correctly.

Then write to scanner.

When you hit "Clear User Data" check the box in the window that says display all drives.. Hit Refresh.. Make sure you choose the right drive when they show up in the window.. Select "OK" to proceed. Once the card goes through this initial process, You'll just Write to scanner as normal from then on..

I would also caution that you verify that Sentinel is set to the correct target model before using the 'Clear User Data' and writing your Favorite(s) list to the card.

It's in the profile settings (edit menu).

If you are writing to a second card, it's already set correctly. It doesn't randomly change.
