Coral Springs Quality

Does anyone else listen to Coral Springs PD / Fire in North Broward? Pompano / Deerfield Area. I'm using a BCT15X. Most of the time the quality is very poor and has a lot of static.


Not sure what to do about it. Some people say it's interference others say I should purchase a new antenna. I am using the antenna that came with the unit.

Pompano/Deerfield is outside of the "official" footprint of the system. Due to it being NPSPAC the signal levels outside of the jurisdiction is limited to protect other co and adjacent channel systems.

Best that you can to is to try to increase the gain on your end by using a yagi mounted outside and pointed towards them.
