CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) -- Fire-rescue officials say one person died and seven others were injured in a fire at a Coral Springs retirement home.
Firefighters evacuated more than 100 residents during the fire at St. Andrew's Towers Retirement Homes early Saturday.
Coral Springs fire officials say the blaze started in the fourth-floor apartment of a man who died around 1:15 a.m. Saturday. His name has not been released.
Seven people were treated at a local hospital.
State fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
