The thing with this list is that i don't hear ANY RTA bus traffic as many city services while scanning in the open...just wondering where they are at? if thats the case something still isnt right...

Are they still on the ed system cause i can't pick up anything on my pro 106 or my pro 94 usualy comes back around three clock in the afternoon do i need to reprogram my frequency please help
ok now i'm hearing those stupid bus people they talk like they have no idea what a radio is and how to use it i don't miss listening to those people...

Larry, I'm going to try what tejedor posted about changing #9 #10 with the new freqs.#9- 854.1125 #10- 854.3875 the new control channels..he says the current freqs. at 9 and 10 are dead. It made sense to me..

CCFD EMS Dispatch 0545 is linked there. We need to get some info going on the San Pat System. I added a talk group for Ingleside PD yesterday. I am getting SO traffic on 1937/1939.
Portland FD/PD is not coming across on the San Pat system.

Larry, that's what I heard yesterday, talkgroup 545 on the Ingleside site. It's the first time I have ever heard it there, and I occasionally listen to the Ingleside tower, which is the best San Pat County site to follow here in Corpus Christi.
Someone mentioned earlier that all the cities/counties could soon be on the same system, but I don't think that's what's happening now. I think that is probably still a ways out.
I also recall hearing that there was a brand new tower going up in Sinton. Any updates on that?

sorry i missed your post to me the other day we have been busy here trying to figure out the changes on our system here in CC and you probably already know. The scanner I have in my avatar is actually a Pro-97, Pro-95 and my everyday scanner my 11 year old Uniden BC245XLT. Did you still need help figuring out something?

Today's Shoreline control channel is staying much longer than the others have all week long...today its still 856.4375..I agree with tejedor on the DB list of old freq. #9 and #10 860.4375 and 860.9375 being completely dead I hear nothing whatsoever coming in on these freqs..

I had been monitoring those two LCN's with the 860. **** MHz freq's for the past week. They are, as far as I can tell, dead.
I knonw Gus is watching those two freq's as well but can anyone else program those and just listen to make sure.
Also, thanks to everyone and all their help. I to am a long time scanner nut. I started at 10 when my uncle gave me a 4 channel crystal controlled scanner. Dont even remember who made it but I think it was a Uniden.
Some kids saved their lunch money and allowance for toys or candy. Me, I saved and could not wait for my mom to take me to Radio Shack so I could look through their crystal box and get a new crysta.
460.100, 460.150, 460.200, 460.250 Those were the CCPD BOMB! Because I was so attached to my radio when I got in trouble, guess what was taken away from me. Yep, my scanner.

Ok i've been monitoring most of the morning and some last night still NO ACTIVITY on the freqs. we are watching I dont even hear those annoying EDACS beeps whatsoever. I'm still watching them this afternoon for activity

That's interesting- is anyone else not hearing them either?
My scanner seems to be working good with tejedor's frequency changes and #9 and #10....still monitoring when I can the old #9 and #10 freqs. They seem dead.

Mine is working on Shoreline no problems.
Mine is working great also on the Shoreline tower, it seems as though there is less traffic on scanning the system openly. I don't even hear animal control anymore(09-005) I think.. I hear some other city services and the airport maintenance.people things like that. I just remember there being more activity. Maybe I'm paranoid now...lol

I am willing to bet that it is just a slow day. It could be worse. We are having problems with our repeater. Every few minutes it breaks squlech and drives me nuts!
Anything new anyone? It's been really quiet around here.....
