Is there anyone still here scanning? Anyone having any luck picking up the San Pat system frmo CC?

I listen to the City of Corpus Christi Police Dept.Patrol 1 & Patrol 2 Fire and Medic dispatch rarely unless there is a working fire or major accident. The Nueces County Sheriff's Dept is rather boring compared to CCPD.
I have tried to listen to San Patricio I have them programmed the Ingleside and Sinton sites in both of my scanners. I have even tried to scan them conventionally.
I lock onto the control channel but rarely hear any activity I have heard some talk before. I'm just using a Uniden BC245XLT and a Radio Shack Pro95 with the 800mhz. Radio Shack antenna I think I need an external antenna..Gus

I can't even lock on to control from my house not too far off Ocean drive. I am using a Pro 94 and 95. I listen to mainly FD and Charlie patrols.

I'm living in the Calallen Area of CC, TX and I get all the groups, I'd say..? I just need some help with the trunking set-up. Mainly ID's. If anyone could give me some quick tips in the CC, TX area I'd appreciate it. I'm currantly using a Undiden BCT8, and ARC8 Pro software to program with. I also use ID Tracker. I don't quite understand how to prograam, for example 13 frequencies and 50 talk groups together and leave out the ones I don't care to listen to... I can use any info you have in any format. Thanks in advance for any help. And HELLO to everyone.

I am in CC on business. I can pick up the San Pat system in my CC hotel room (albeit a little weak) using my PRO 96 and the Rat Shack 800 MHz rubber duckie antenna.
On a side note, I can pick up all three CC systems from my hotel room with no problem whatsoever. I can also pick up 155.19 (I think tha's the freq) listed a Portland PD.

Kleberg County - Kingsville Area

I have a the Kleberg County - Kingsville area system programmed into my scanner as an edacs system, but the only two talkgroups that I seem to be able to listen to is the NAS Kingsville fire department. I was wondering if anyone else is have the same problem.

I just got the Pro2051 and cannot seem to be able to program this scanner. I got some of the freq from this website and cannot get it to scan. What it the difference from conventional scanning to trunck scanning I thing I know the answer but just need to confirm.

1. Make sure that you are using the LCN. The freq's need to be put in in the correct order.
2. Make sure you are starting with the first channel in each bank. I always mix this up when switching between the 94 and 95.
3. Are you hearing the control channel?
4. Where do you live exactally?(Major intersection) There are some dead spots that are hard to p/u the city's system. One place I have trouble is Waldron and SPID.
5. If at all possible reset the scanner and start over from scratch. I only have the 94 and 95. I do not use the programming cable, I did not have a computer that had a serial port on it. I didn't think it was worth the investment for one radio. If the 2051 is computer programmable it may be worth the investment in going that route.
If I can be of any help PM me and I will give you my phone number. Usually if you read and re-read the book you can figure out where you are going wrong.

I live off of FM 624 nearly half-way between Hgwy. 77 S. and C.C. City limits. The far N.W. part of the city. My second floor balcony faces the city so I have my antenna out there. I pull in strong signals from here, though I've never received San Patricio county. I do get all of Nueces that my radio supports and I that I "half way understand how to program into it.
