Correct USB driver install for PSREdit300 for "Direct Cable Access"

Is the USB cable connected before, after or during the install of the drivers for Direct Cable Access supplied by GRE? Does the radio have to be connected? Can I assume either the RS 20-047 or GRE cable will work with Direct Cable Access?

Both cables will work with it. You do however need updated drivers. The most recent drivers are available at http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM20600.exe

These drivers will work for either cable.
