I have a new BCT-15 coming in the next day or two. I'm reading up and trying to learn on my own before it gets here. I just want to make sure that I'm on the right path.

I'm no expert (have only had my bct15 for less than a week) but it looks like you've got everything right.

ka3jjz provided a very valuable link. Once I started reading that manual instead of Uniden's manual everything began to make more sense.

You need to set the quick keys for the systems and the groups. Other than that it looks good.
