Hi anyone in northen NJ with an 996XT I'm new to this radio and could use some help programing it. I monitor NJSP troop B,Essex ,bergen ,passaic ,morris ,sussex,somerset, union counties along with PAPD and NYC. Thank you

The best way to program new scanners is with software, here is one that will work, if you have the programming cable:

ScanNow.org - The Home of FreeSCAN!

And it's even better if you become a Premium Subscriber and use the import feature in the software to import data from RR into the software for uploading to your scanner:

Or just use FreeScan (with programming cable) and check out the file in this post, it will have all you need to listen in your area.
