YORK, Pa. -- The York County commissioners are being asked to extend a contract with Pittsburgh-based L. Robert Kimball & Associates -- an extension that means nearly $151,000 more -- to allow the company to oversee fixes being made to the county's 911 radio upgrade.

Why?

This is just another reason to throw more money into the fire----Why spend more cash for "experts" to oversee the "repairs" to the system---
Hold Ma/Com's feet to the fire--make them fix the problems. Then have first responders test the system from time to time--if the fixes aren't working DEMAND that Ma/Com fixes it at their cost not the cost of taxpayers!

It looks like they are going to try and get M/A-com to foot the bill:

"Chronister and Commissioner Doug Hoke said they don't want to pay for errors they believe are not the county's fault and suggested that M/A-COM pay for the Kimball extension."

Seems like a good idea
