How can they do that? They don't know the area.

The County Police patrols Cresskill during the day and then the locals take over again at night. I don 't know if this is a permanent deal or just temporary. Keep your ears tuned

Today only for several hours then, back to the highways, i understand even though towns complain about having a county police, several tims a year the county patrols a town for a few hours due to temporary shortage mandatory training investigation parades, funerals then when the detail is done the towns go back to complaining
PS yes on the gps and gis mapping in the cars laptops, and the 911 center has - the cars have gps in them as most towns thru the verizon lap tops so 911 dispatch in hackensack can also direct the cars, in theory anyway

Mostly Locals but the county pd is around there once and a while.
