I have a few questions

#1 Why isn't my scannercast connecting to my account, so i can feed?

#2 Are audio feeders, not premium subscribers no more? I was bounced back to a regular member

It shows my feeds on the site, but I am unable to connect using scanner cast. I have reinstalled scannercast and still the same problem.

I think i may have found out the answers to my questions.

I wasn't able to use scannercast auto login to RR, but as soon as I unchecked the option to not login to RR and start the broadcast, it let me.

Once i was able to broadcast, i became a premium subscriber again.

I guess i answered my own questions after some trial and error, lol

But i do have a question now, i do a couple feeds. So do i have to manually input the info now, instead of the auto login?

Your premium subscription is only active when your feed is active, per the new changes yesterday.

The workaround for ScannerCast is simple: disable the auto-config and start the feed the old fashioned way, by entering the server info. It should already be filled in for those who've run their feed through the program already, so it's not really a big deal. Lindsay is working on a fix for the issue as well.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

I like the idea you only get premium status only when your feeding.

I liked the option on auto login on scannercast, hopefully they can work it out and bring that option back.

Yeah, I can see it being a bit of a hassle if you run multiple feeds. Hopefully Lindsay will have a fix for it soon.

I lost one of my feeds. I went to broadcast and noticed it wasn't letting me. So I looked and it is gone. I only broadcasted it a few times when activity was on it (local airport) so i dont know it was because on inactivity or the update.

If you had not brought it online in 3 weeks then it was most likely deleted. Dont think the update deleted it.
