Courier Spartan Microphone

I bought a Spartan 23 channel SSB with no microphone. It appears they use a 1/4 plug.

Does anyone know how I can wire and adapt a standard mic to the 1/4. I can't say I have seen this style of microphone selling anywhere.

its a 1/4 inch stereo plug,,,,,if i remember right the tip is the audio,,next ring is the tx and the shank part is the ground there is no hook up for the recieve,,,, it uses a relay in the radio,,,,

depends on manufacturerer and make and model they are all different one way or another,,,,,

As 'kf3yr' post #2, keep that in mind when checking the pin-out of the other mics.

edit: the bottom link may be the one to use. The top 2 or quite long and may be confusing if you're not familiar with this type of wiring.
