"A traditional police funeral is tentatively planned for Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cannon Mountain in the parking lot overlooking Echo Lake. McKay was planning to get married at the lake in July.
McKay was a motorcycle enthusiast. His casket will be led from town hall to Echo Lake by a procession of motorcycles. His best friend will ride in the lead.
Color guards from across the state will stand in honor at the funeral, while pipes and drums play.
Officials expect 3,000 to 4,000 people to attend."
