CPS software Question

I need to know if the CPS based software for the mcs2000 and mts2000 if easer to work with than the :?: MS-DOS software in which I have for all the motorola radios. And if so is the CPS software a windows operatable program, and where would I find it to learn the software for the mcs & mts or is it obtainable through motorola.

I have used both RSS and CPS, and personally I like the CPS due to the ability to open multiple windows with a single codeplug and the ability to drag and drop between like model codeplugs.

This is a personal preference of course depending on what your used to, but to answer you other question, yes, CPS is a Window's based program.

I have heard that getting the CPS software and learning tools from Motorola is difficult if your an individual user. You can try calling them and ask to find out what you need to do.

If any one can let me try a copy of the CPS software for the mcs or mts. It maybe a little cheeper. I am not trying to obtain a illegal copy, I do have a license for my RSS software. Before I buy more software form motorola, I need to make sure its going to work for me on my PC and that It is going to be benificial for me to purchase for most of the motorola radios that we program, and I would like to learn the software and try some of the thing that I have been reading about ie drop and drag. Before I spend a lot of money on CPS software for other model radios. I am willing to purchase if reasonable price mcs,mts Cps software if someone has it, and if I can try it to see if it works for me better that my RSS software.
