Cranston Rhode Island PD has switched to digital at 0800 this morning. I have not been able to receive any transmissions since 0800 today. Does anybody have any updated information?

More then likely Cranston went P-25, and you must have a P-25 compatible scanner to receive those transmissions. This was the same situation for me in Syracuse, New York.
They are not on RISCON as far as I know. I have them programmed as conventional objects with an NAC of DEF. I tried programming them as a P25 AUTO system and I do not receive anything that way.
Don-
Is Cranston FD on the RISCON yet or will they be on RISCON in the future. It seems to me that I have heard them on 800 MHZ from time to time. Is that correct?

They have the portables on trucks and radio in dispatch but are not simulcasting as of yet. They do a RISCON portable check after regular frequency check at 1800 hours
Also the police are not on the RISCON system. As far a PD all I did was the switch from anolog to digital in audio type under channel and I am receiving them
