Crash kills electric...

The driver of a car driving on Second Avenue near Mill Creek Rd this evening lost control struck a utility pole and a house.

Electric was off to a large part of the north end of Gallipolis.

The power is still off in the area of the crash.

The driver was taken to Holzer Medical Center....Gallipolice PD, FD and Gallia County EMS responded to the scene.

City crews barricaded the intersections.

AEP plans on working through the night to repair the damage...:confused:

Yes, I think he must have been moving pretty good to. As I understand it, he was driving under suspension too....Figures, huh?

Sadly to say, they seem to have lost some reindeer and santa has suffered some injuries as well. The Elves are discussing things with there union leaders.
