I have been picking up a lot of Creek co so traffic on their county EOC
freq. They appear to be using as a talkaround channel. I have been getting the rest of the story.....

Always include freq's when discussing them! So's us lazy people don't have to search for them.

ok-lawman--

Are they using the repeater (151.055MHz) or the old simplex channel (155.865MHz) :?:

Also, do you know if Sapulpa uses their old VHF frequencies any more :?:

Creek Co. will soon be 800 Meg. Sapulpa Herald reported that Sheriff Toliver purchased 19 DIGITAL 800 MHz radios for their patrol cars. TO BE PROGRAMMED THIS WEEK! Will a need new towers over the county be needed?

If they use the DPS TRS, they shouldn't need any new towers. OHP covers Creek county with their current system. Besides the western Tulsa sites, there is a site in Bristow and a site in Carney (eastern Lincoln County).

However, they'll likely keep their current system as a backup and for those inevitable "dead spots."

Some of the creek co units have had 800 for a while they are on the state system. I have heard them on tcso talkgroups. Are they just they just going to use them to communicate with other agencies much like tcso still has lowbands in their cars programmed for all the local pd's on vhf. Of course with sapulpa, ohp etc on 800 them going over would make sense. They should not need new towers as they have one in bristow and the others in west tulsa.

the eoc they arew using is the 155.0155.

I have heard that Creek co is only getting 18 to 21 radios. I dont think that will cover all there units much less the other agenices they dispatch for ie kiefer and the rest.
