Just confirmed Creek County SO on the City of Tulsa/state 800. The new TG is (27408). Happy scanning...

CCSO

Are they still on VHF, too? Back in the 70's I lived in Osage County, I could hear CCSO using a speech inversion scrambler on 155.76.

Yes they are still on (155.7). What it sounds like they are doing is using (155.7) as the main dispatch and using TGs (27408) and (27440) as car to car and BS channels. I'll post more as I get and understand it. Happy scanning...

As I have been told Creek co only got 18 radios. I am sure that they have more patrol cars than that. Then add the little pds like kiefer that they dispatch for and that adds up. It may be some time before they totally go
800 but I hope they keep their low band system up that will give them the best of both worlds.

Yes they are correct. I might also add that CCSO loves their new radios and chats on them quite often.

I was told that they are going to use it for car to car and talking to other agencies untill sometime next year whan they install a dispatch console
