CREST issue

Hey there
I was wondering. I just recently got a Whistler WS1040 and downloaded the PSR500 software to program it. Everything I try transfers the files to my device, but I cant hear anything. Trying to hear BC, Capitol CREST telecom services Moto Type II police talkgroups.

It scans back an forth between them all. Separated with colour flashes. Can any one help me out with this ?

It would help to know if you can get anything such as Weather etc. You must play with ATT on this scanner.
First off, what control channels can you hear from your reception point? Jot them all down. Search between 141-144 MHz, then search 769-773 MHz , jot them down.

This is a starting point. With Whistler, attenuator can be your friend, but you have to start somewhere.
After this, in PSR500 , (oh forget 700 MHz, your scanner only does P1) you can put in separate banks. The VHF control channels you can hear from your location.
