While travelling thru Cordele the past two days, I discovered that the Crisp County TRS has evidently converted to P25. I couldn't get the system as defined here on RR to receive anything (I had input it as a Type II system). In addition to the freqs listed in RR, a quick stroll thru the FCC Database reveals that Crisp County is licensed on the following frequencies IN ADDITION TO the ones listed here in RR:
852.8625, 854.9375, 855.8125, 856.8125, and 857.2125

So, I'm no longer sure which frequencies are the control channels. If anyone lives in middle Georgia and can verify all this, we need to get the RR database updated.

This must have just happened.....I know alot of agencies are in the rebanding process.....I was in Crisp County (a former resident of the area) only two weekends ago....they had a chase with possible felons on the run....a perimeter was set and they had patched the state car-to-car frequency into "Sheriff Dispatch" talkgroup. All on analog, at that time.
Not saying what you see isn't true....I believe you.....they must have JUST switched.
My family lives in the area, well within listening range of the Crisp TRS. I'll update as soon as I can, but others may get to it quicker.

I know Tift, Houston, & Bibb County TRSystems can be heard if the weather's right from that area....but your research says otherwise.

Good catch, Metrofire31
