While uploading a P25 Standard data file it will upload to a particular group and then the "Critical error, possibly caused by insufficient scanner resources. Aborting". The P25 system contains 2 (MP25) & 24 groups. It is the 21 group that I get the Critical error message. Can you only have 20 groups to a system? This P25 Standard contains 2 counties that each have large metropolian communities and they have set up their system so that they can roam into each other districts and be able to communicate to that counties channels.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thread moved to Scanner Programming Software forum.

It would help if you let us know which scanner you have, what software you're using and what system you're trying to upload.

Sorry for not including the important information. Scanner is a Uniden BCD966XT & programming software is FreeScann version is 2.13 & 2.17. If I understand your question regarding "which system I'm trying to upload" it is a P25 standard 800MHz system.

I found my answer. There is 20 group limit per system.
