Cromwell LTR TG Issue

Hello all......

not sure if this is the right thread to post this issue in but figured id start here. in programming my pro-97 using win 97, and the rr importing feature on the program i am getting talk groups for cromwell pd LTR system that read similar to the ones below:

however when i upload to my scanner any tgid that begins with a "0" is being replaced with a "1" and none of the talk groups my scaner is showing me are matching up with what i uploaded into the scaner and i cant get a text tag to work because of this...i have other trunking modes as well as another LTR system in my scaner (not in the same bank) and it is on the approriate LCN format...not havin any trouble with other systems except cromwell...just lookin for any input on this as i would like to have text representations of the tgids but in order to do this i feel like i have to figure this issue out...thanks for the input all!!

I have them entered into my Uniden BCD396T and they all seem to start with a 1, So I'm guessing that that's the correct pre-fix.


Also, Take a look at the following link to the Cromwell TRS.

It will show you that 1 is the proper starting number.

interesting...then the xml file from the rr db might have it wrong.....the link gave me makes more sense with what i am seeing on my scaner...ill dump those instead..thanks!!

also 1-05-179 seems to not be in either of these lists......new TG?

yeah...i will submit it tomorrow when im not mobile...it seems to be like a traffic patrol tg...lotta plates bein ran off that one...p.s. i just chaned all the 0 to 1 in win 97...did the trick, thanks for the advice...
