Has anybody heard any crook county traffic over the wyoming state trunk system

I hear their traffic whenever a deputy or PD officer has training at the academy. What would you like to know?

So that is the only time
I don't travel up there very often, so I only hear them when they come here. I heard quite a bit of traffic on Monday and Tuesday.

So either nothing ever happens in crook county or that talk group is encrypted or I have not found the right frequency that they our on
18-LE 1 is TG 15106 and is the one that's published here on RR. That talk group is usually patched with 15102, which I'm assuming is Sundance. Also, they handle radio traffic for Devil's Tower on those two TG's. If you can receive the Warren Peak, Alva, or Mount Pisgah sites, you'll hear them. Those sites I mentioned carry quite a bit of radio traffic.

Well I live in lawrence country south dakota but I drive over into crook county trying to hear some traffic in crook county either county or highway patrol

The only thing I have ever heard is a check in with dispatch
Turn off the location control on your scanner and just monitor traffic on Warren Peak and Mount Pisgah. You should be able to hear a pile of traffic on both. Most will be from Gillette though. WHP CLQ is on 19879 and covers the entire northeast corner of the state, and it's frequently patched with WHP BMF. When the two patrol TG's are patched, you'll hear troopers from 10 of the 23 counties on just that one TG!
