Is it possible to setup a relay to talk from say Norfolk va to Jackson tn? i would like to eventually be able to talk to a few people i know without the use of my own personal antenna tower and 20 watt and up tx.
i am new to this im learning as i go any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
i just purchased my first radio and i am trying to get call sign/license
the radio i purchased is not much 4 or 5 watt baofeng uv5rplus i currently have it programmed as a scanner
i know with that power im looking at a maximum of about 4 miles if im lucky.
