Just wondering if anyone knows how I can filter my scanner to prevent crosstalk with a FM station.

It seems my outdoor antenna (ST-2) is picking up a FM station (94.9FM) and mixing it with Oshawa EMS and only with this talk group on the Bell Fleetnet - Ontario Provincial Government Zone 1.

What type of radio is it that your using?

Perhaps turn the attenuator on, or if you have a broadcast screen in the radio somewhere you could turn it on as well. I know in my 396t radio if you go to search/close call options you can turn the screen on, not sure if that only helps in the searching options only or if it would work on a programmed system too.

Very weird though that it only happens on a single talkgroup and not every talkgroup.

Press the ATT button on the scanner. A friend of mine has the same issue with his GRE/Radioshack scanners in Oshawa..

the other option is to get a FM trap. it goes inline on the cable and traps out the 88-108 area.
