Thanks for this information. As a former resident of Arizona (I left 30 years ago - crap time flies!) and one familiar with most of the terrain of northern Arizona I've enjoyed the on line scanners used to monitor the Forest Service and Park Service. I like your user name as well. Part of my old stomping grounds.

By the way, the Mingus Mtn. repeater used to boom into my house in Flagstaff. I was using an old Regency cyrstal scanner at the time, which had almost no sensitivity, but the Prescott came in quite nicely when they used Mingus. The Coconino did not use repeaters then, except for one on East Pocket lookout used to cover Oak Creek Canyon and much of the Sedona Ranger District. The Mingus repeater alllowed me to know more about what was going on the Prescott than I knew about the Coconino, whose Supervisors Office and three Ranger District offices were nearby to me in town.
