Crown Point PD - Lake County Public Safety

I've been listening/watching? for Crown Point PDs talk group to pop up and in a week or so of monitoring, nothing.

There's a few new crypto users but most of them are using LCSD radio ids.

Am I missing something?

I even went and looked at the FCC grants to see if they went back to analog, and I listened to the SAFE-T net to see if they joined Schererville and Cedar Lake.

There was talk in a thread earlier this year about Crown Point and Merrillville being on each others TGs. Don't know if that's still the case (I've been away from scanning for a while).

Alright I'll check it out. Thanks. Its strange because Merrilville is big enough to need its own desk. And so is CP honestly.

It's like Lowell St. John and Dyer. I understand lumping Lowell in with someone else...but it seems like an after thought. Anyway thanks for the hint.

Can confirm for anyone who is curious. 153 RIDs (Crown Point) are using the Merrilville talkgroup.
