There seems to be some Crusade for Children activity on the RCS trunking channel, along with the usual churchill downs stuff. Just a heads up.
Crusade 3, Crusade 3. Anybody.

Set up a wildcard talkgroup using those 4 control freqs. Set your software to create new groups from hits off the wildcard.
After all the derby crap, I just dropped the fleet groups, so you are on your own their.
All I know is I am getting alot of activity on 49344 and ??
Sorry I don't have my software set up, nor can I access my full list of talkgroups from this trunk group. Anyway I dropped the fleet group thing cause I was sick of messing with it. They change a lot of stuff on a very regular basis with a bunch of new radios added for events so maybe I was missing stuff maybe not but without fleet groups I feel I have dropped one layer of complexity off the grid and still I am able to hear everything. Everything. Try 49344
good luck

The Fleet Map is essential to operation, yes you can hear everything without it. But it will not track properly.

Plus, GRE/RS scanners have a reception/decode delay on Type I systems, This means you miss some traffic, very slight, but you will miss replies, this does not exist on Uniden's. I know this because I often monitor the system with three different scanners.

And if you hold on a talkgroup, you will miss replies without a fleetmap programmed.
I believe 49344 is part of Kosair Charities.

Those were used at the WHAS studios to shepherd people around.

Crusade 3,4 and so on are fire department coordinators who meet and greet arriving fire departments at WHAS.

If the TGIDs seem to be permanently assigned and someone will fashion a submission with this info, I'll add it to the DB since this is an annual event...

That's why the Fleetmap is so important...
ID change depending on which radio is being used, the change is not a lot, just within the assigned Block. Trouble is with this system some radios don't talk much at all, so it's hard to tell if a rental or a regular part of the company.

That would translate to 600-03; Did we monitor this during Derby?
Label Kosair Crusade Ops?

I don't know how many companies use this service, but there are quite a few.

-Churchill Downs
-Supply Chains Solutions - ups subsidiary maybe its just a security company
-UPS Late at night (totally guessing here but I tracked flights (using flighttracker.com) that they talked about, and they were UPS) 2 talkgroups
-Brown Hotel limo service
-4th Str. Live Security
-Some kind of property management company or appliance repair. Dishwashers, airconditioners, heaters.
- There were new radios (talkgroups) brought out for the memorial day events at the river.
- Some kind of city landscape management company.
-- ?????

Whoever was using 49344, and there were several groups(crusade 1,crusade 2, crusade 3), all came up on this same talkgroup every time, with seemingly no delay. I guess that means those radios were Type II ?? .

There is a delay on some talkgroups.

Here is every group I have picked up since a little before derby. Haven't time to label any of them. I had the scanner running 24 hours a day there for a while and didn't pick up any new talkgroups for awhile until memorial day when 3 popped up. Unfortunately I don't have that handy, although I could probably figure it out from looking at old log files.

Didn't want to make it sound like there was a conflict or anything but I had no idea some of these trunking systems would be so frustrating. Hope those #s help.

The latenight UPS traffic chrizby mentioned is pretty interesting. It's definitely UPS-related (I've also checked flight numbers and ramp assignments), but I don't think it's actually UPS corporate since UPS has their own big honkin' trunk system. I'm thinking it might be a contractor or something that does something for/with UPS. Just like chrizby, pure guess.

If it is UPS corporate, maybe it's a part of their logistics ops? They would be relatively low volume compared to the rest, and UPS has acquired a lot of their logistics groups so they not be outfitted with UPS radios yet. Anyone else have any info?
