I heard some traffic here the other day, first time this year. This is a campground frequency for the Crystal Basin Recreation Area in the Eldorado NF with a PL of 100.
Should be able to hear it in Sacramento, I have heard it on I80 near Davis. Very good freq to monitor during camping season, usually Memorial Day thru deer season. The hosts have to put up with challenged campers and the bears. Law Enforcement has been there frequently in the past to deal with rowdy campers especially during the major holidays.
