Sitting here in my office kind of tracking what's coming over Gunbarrel w/o access to Pro96com.
Saw 8104 come across several times. Both mobiles and dispatch.
This is CSP 4B identifying as Craig dispatch.
It's not constant and it's the first time I've seen it in 2 weeks of monitoring.

What's going on? Somebody put a patch in somewhere??

Nope probably just a NW Colo trooper traveling to Golden or Boulder for training and he has his radio set on his home TG.

And with Berthoud Pass and Rabbit Ears currently closed that might impact things a little as well.

I'm sitting here listening to all of 2B traffic off of Mesa Point and Black Ridge and have been for the last two days.
The joys of a "Statewide" system and travelers not going to the MAC channels as they are supposed to. So far it has not caused any site busy calls that I have caught but it is only going to get worse as school buses and traveling officers listen to their home traffic while wandering around the state.

But Bruce they don't want to go to there travel channel, that's boring, it's much easier to listen to the familiar voices on there home TG and potentially really tie up the system sometime.

It's human nature.

We have a travel channel, it's STATE, and it's used more often than not

Yep I hear most of the CSP units using that but there are always a few that don't, I don't know what the 2B car is doing in GJ or Delta but he has his radio on 24/7. I had almost 6 hours of recorded traffic to sort through in the last 24 hour recording session. Thank goodness for gigabyte drives :)

Just one of my minor rants, I would rather listen to the CSP traffic than the Poudre School buses that happen more regularly, although not nearly as busy.

I've been hearing Monte Vista PD 8312 and EMS 8307 throughout the day on the S. Greeley 35th site.

Occasional distant communications on sites are quite normal.

I noticed while logging today that the Squaw Mountain site denies ALL Adams county agencies now.

That's probably related to the wildland training that was at AIMS all weekend Phil.

Makes sense. Always interesting to hear other places besides the usual.

No publicity about it in the local press. The trib is usually pretty good about articles on special events involving public safey or AIMS.
