Anyone else notice the audio difference between CSP consoles (booming) and the mobile units less loud has seemed to get even worse this weekend? Seems to be Denver mainly, Pueblo and Alamosa dispatch centers it's not noticeable.

Yes, I have noticed this as well.... What are they thinking, that by turning up their headsets that the trooper will be able hear them better or something? I think that they need to listen to themselves for a while and hear how they sound like crap!

CSP Denver dispatch likes those fancy wireless headset with the adjustable distortion control for their headset microphone. Not sure what they are thinking when they crank them up. It sounds horrible. Louder is not better in the digital world.

Their CLEER and State 3 VHF transmitters cut out due to the audio overload from this as well.
