Does CSP dispatch have a policy of always reading the full text of protection orders over the radio? It seems like they could save a lot of time by airing very short summaries in one sentence of strictly relevant information such as "your party has a protection order, protected party is jane smith, no physical contact or verbal harassment".

Instead dispatchers read long sentences verbatim from multi-paragraph protection orders, and usually it seems like they could summarize the relevant info. in one sentence...

It's possible they read all of it because if they summarize it and miss saying something it could allow the restrained party from not getting charged with breaking the protection order. Such as if the restrained party is not allowed to how alcohol and the dispatcher forgets to say that and the party is intoxicated or has been drinking they may just be released depending on the other circumstances of the call. If the dispatcher reads everything the trooper has the information and if something is missed it is no longer the fault of the dispatcher. It's all about CYA.
