Id 8113 is assigned as CSP 5B Alamosa Car to Car (Tac), please advise if that's active as well.

Thanks Jim<

I am damn surprised somebody would engage in a chase over Raton pass and especially so in this weather. Anybody that listened to it know what the speeds were? Glad to hear they caught them though.

As posted to MNN list.

This is the case where the suspect was chased into New Mexico this afternoon, great monitoring if you had the capability, sorry about the Bent county angle, a CSP unit had a Bent county id on his radio, and that threw me off when the pursuit came up on MAC-9, simulcast patch of DTRS, Colo VHF and New Mex worked great!! heard it to conclusion from Golden, New mex jumped on it berfore it got to the border, and It went down great after the sticks got set up 10/2004

from KRDO 13 news page
On Tuesday November 9, 2004 at approximately 10:00PM, Officers with the Stetson Hills Division were dispatched to 5374 Smokehouse Lane regarding a missing 55 year old female.

The missing woman did not return home and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance appear suspicious.

Several officers with the Stetson Hills Division and detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating her disappearance.

The missing person is identified as Beverly Mountz, age 55, described as being 5’-5” tall approximately 150 pounds with blond hair.

Her vehicle is also missing and it is described as a silver 1999 Dodge Durango with Colorado passenger registration 124-GIU.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking anyone with information reference Ms. Mountz disappearance to call the police department at 444-7000.

QUESTIONS; I assume 124GIU is the license plate, not the ? Colorado passenger registration. Was the Durango found? If not, what color is it? Last ?, area code of phone # 444.7000? I have the day off tomorrow, and will be driving all around doing chores, so I will keep this info in my notebook, if it is still relevant.

Thanks Jim. I will check out their site later. My POS computer doesn't let me multitask, so after I log off here, and do some other things, I will try to find out if the vehicle has been located.

Yes, after listening a while I also heard them on id 8113. This traffic came from the Deer Peak site which is within range of me. It lasted about an hour before it disappeared for the rest of the day.
