Okay let's see how long this lasts.

On Friday April 1st CSP's TG patching methodolgy was all over the place and this weekend this pattern has been more stable, if you want to call it that.

CSP 3A Dispatch is continually patched to 6C Dispatch
CSP 3C Dispatch is continually patched to 3B Dispatch

Basically what this means is if you want to hear 3A Dispatch you need to add 6C dispatch to your scanlist or you will not hear 3A and vice versa.

Same goes for 3C Dispatch you need to have the 3B dispatch in your scanlist as well.

They tried this last year in Northern Colorado and it did not last long.

Nothing real definitive for the Metro area but it looks like 6A, 6B and 6D are continuous patched like normal. I have not heard 1A since Friday so it may be they are not patched and receivable on towers out East. 1C and 1D appear not to be patched either.

If it isn't distorted sounding dispatchers it's messing with TG patches for CSP.

A few others I am watching off of Bald Mtn this morning are:

1938 patched to 1930 WCSO
2389 patched to 2451 as mentioned
4063 patched to 4069 PFA

1938 patched to 1930 WCSO

Normal for when Weld airs BOLO information.

Weld county intiated patch TG's typically include 1930, 1938, 1939, 1944 and 1946. Kinda stinks having to keep Clearance TG's open to catch countywide all calls and BOLO's but it's factored by which dispatcher intiates the patch.

Greeley has kept it pretty much on their CH1 TG for patching.

From an observation standpoint I do not beleive that PRO96COM catches all groups in a patch beyond the first and last TG's so we end up with odd combinations being displayed.

If only Uniden or GRE would get the P25 CC decode and radio firmware to act like the system radios it would make it so much easier.

Don't worry, it wont last. Like you said they tried the same thing last time and it failed. It's always been nice to have 3A/3C patched because our areas run so close together and we share an interstate. They tried this when we were running our VIPER accident prevention team, didnt take long and we were back together
