State Patrol just followed a hit and run suspect from Colorado Springs on I-25 to the county line exit (El Paso/Douglas) and then west into Palmer Lake area. The suspect vehicle was stopped by a train and CSP TVI'd him (PIT). He then attempted to run and they tazered him.
Just heard Palmer Lake FD dispatched to County Line Rd and Spruce near the railroad tracks.
Colorado Springs PD was originally following the suspect but they exited I-25 and they headed back to the city.
Palmer Lake FD is saying that the CSP vehicle has damage too.
