When using the 396 what modulation are people using to listen to the system. When I use the auto modulation I get frequent cut-outs even with full signal. When I am in FM the audio is much better with no cut-outs. The thing is recently I have noticed when on FM I seem to be picking up an open carrier in an analog sounding mode. This open carrier varries from talkgroup to talkgroup. Any Ideas?
