All depends on your City/County auto theft rate. Most LE agencies in the Metro area have at least one car equipped.

On a related note, has anyone noticed the LoJack signal that transmits regularly from area base stations has changed? I think I read somewhere a while back that LoJack had applied and been approved for some type of change in either the method of transmission or the type of data that is transmitted...

I would guess that is the output for the signal that goes out to the cars to tell them to activate. Does anyone know what the freq would be that transmits from the stolen cars themselves?
