CSV import, how to convert spreadsheet A column?

I am trying to import RRdb for a system that is 3600 baud, into my talkgroup list for my counties new 9600 system. I can work the import, but I would have to manually convert a thousand talkgroups with a calculator and Windows Notepad. Anyone know how to apply a divide by 16 to every talkgroup decimal in the A column of a Google Spreadsheets? Would like to have my G5's programmed prior to talkgroups being moved onto the new system next month...RRdb always lags a month behind real world changes.

Put =A1/16 into the first cell of an empty column, then drag the formula down the entire column. You can then CTRL+C copy that new column of TGID's and use CTRL+SHIFT+V to paste the values back into column A. Don't use CTRL+V as you'll paste the formulas back into column A, which you don't want to do.

Yep, spreadsheets can be intimidating! They sure are nice when they work the way you want though.

You're missing a big slice of life! I've used Excel for many years, extensively at work but also at home. It can be an incredible workhorse if you know how to make the best use of it, and is very useful for the manipulation of frequency data in our hobby.

Yes, I am now using it to convert my Uniden XT Freescan talkgroups to 9600 as well. :-D
