I have had my 246t now for several months, up until a few days ago, I had no CTCSS/DCS tones programmed in and wasn't searching for any on any of the freqs. I decided to search the tones just to start making a log and used the ARC246 software to make every conventional freq search for tones. I have noticed since I started the tone search, I am hearing different agencies on the same channels where I wasn't before. Does setting the search help pick up different agencies?
