R8600 CTCSS/DCS

Hi. I don't have an 8600, but i'm considering buying one. I'd like to know if it can automatically display CTCSS and DCS codes when receiving an FM or NFM transmission. After reading the user manual, i don't think it does this. The manual does say you can search for specific codes, but that's all i see. Thanks.

CTCSS/DCS decoding is one of the few goofs ICOM made with the R8600. No instantaneous decode and display, during a tone scan, the 8600 steps through CTCSS or DCS codes until it finds a match. I can live with it.
