The Cullman county Sheriff Department has went to using the P25 digital signal same with the city of Cullman. The county started using the P25 digital signal about 1 1/2 week ago. The city of Cullman started using the P25 digital signal about 1 month & 1/2 ago. I hate it because I can not hear what is going on around the city or county

The system is a major upgrade with all the new hardware, and is working very well for all three agencies. Get a P25 digital scanner, I got one off eBay, much cheaper than going into RadioS____ and dropping way to much for an overkill scanner.

askdaniel1, I have a simple question for you regarding the cities radio system-something you may or may not have an answer to- also something that if you do have an answer to you may not won't to broadcast IT it's truly no biggie, if you have time shoot me an e-mail at jodyclarke@bpl.coop. If I'm breaking any forum rules then someone let me know, I'd hate to have someone hunt me down and spam me to death. I was looking for a private messaging tool here but didn't notice one. Oh well, have been following your updates and thank you for them!-J.C.

What is the City of Cullman's "drop down" freq. I used to have it, I do know it was a car to car frequency, something like 156.742 heck , I simply do not remember any ideas-askdaniel1? You seem to be well in the know thought you might know IT. If not guess I'll be on the hunt! Once again thanks for all your input on the local agencies radio upgrades.
